PURE PLASMA SKIN TREATMENTS
PURE PLASMA is an FDA Approved treatment that uses ionized gas to form plasma, which delivers a heated plasma pulse (thermal effect) that is applied directly to the skin’s surface. Unlike lasers, the plasma energy does not destroy tissues.
Plasma is an ionized gas that is formed when electrical energy passes through a gas (such as air) at a high temperature. It is composed of positively charged ions and electrons. Plasma has been used in the past to remove tattoos and other skin abnormalities without damaging the surrounding tissue.
Pure Plasma skin rejuvenation offers a number of advantages over traditional skin treatments. It is non-invasive, so there is no need for anesthesia or any cutting or sutures. And since it does not damage the surrounding tissue, there is no need for extensive healing or downtime!
The thermal effect produced by the plasma energy works to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin, which helps to further improve skin quality. This makes Pure Plasma skin rejuvenation an ideal treatment for those who are looking to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture and tone without surgery!
During the Pure Plasma skin rejuvenation treatment, the practitioner will use the device to apply a stream of ionized gas directly onto the skin. The gas is then heated to create a thermal effect that stimulates collagen production and encourages cell turnover. This helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, as well as improve skin texture and tone. Results can start to be seen almost immediately and will continue to improve over time.
After a Pure Plasma skin rejuvenation procedure, patients may experience some redness in the treated area. This typically resolves within a few hours. Patients can expect to see optimal results within 3-4 weeks.

What is Pure Plasma and how does it work?
PURE PLASMA is an NON-INVASIVE, FDA Approved, skin treatment that uses medical-grade Nitrogen gas, which is ionized through a high energy probe tip, to form nitrogen plasma. Plasma is an ionized gas that is formed when electrical energy passes through a gas, in this case nitrogen, at a high temperature. It is composed of positively charged ions and electrons. Plasma has been used in the past to remove tattoos and other skin abnormalities without damaging the surrounding tissue. Unlike lasers, the plasma energy does not destroy tissues.
Which areas of the body are commonly treated?
A: Common treatment areas include the face, neck, and décolletage. Specific facial treatment areas are eyelids, crow’s feet, smile lines, forehead wrinkles, and acne scars. Other common treatment areas include the top of your hands and thighs just above the knees. Generally, any place on your body where your skin is crepey, you’ll benefit from skin tightening, collagen production and increased skin elasticity.
- Face and neck for tightening and lifting
- Upper eyelids for non-surgical blepharoplasty
- Perioral wrinkles around the lips
- Pigmentation and discoloration spots
- Active acne and acne scars
- Stretch marks and sun-damaged skin
How long does it take to get a Pure Plasma treatment?
The entire process takes about an hour and includes hundreds of overlapping plasma bursts to the skin to ensure complete coverage of the treatment area.
Do you have payment options where I could pay over time?
Yes, we offer Care Credit and Cherry Credit payment options for all medi-spa services.
Who can get the Pure Plasma treatments?
Generally, men and women with light to medium skin tones are ideal candidates for the Pure Plasma skin resurfacing procedure. Those who have acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, sun damage or fine lines can benefit from Pure Plasma. People who wish to gain a more youthful appearance without a facelift through a non-invasive technique may find that Pure Plasma is the perfect solution. If you’re feeling insecure in any way about drooping eyelids or crows feet, this procedure is right for you.
Are Pure Plasma treatments the same as Plasma Fibroblast Therapy?
NO! Plasma Fibroblast Therapy uses a pen-like device that emits a controlled, high-frequency electric current to create small, targeted areas of trauma (minor burn damage) on the skin. It is an invasive technique because it leaves open wounds in the treatment area that scab over and require bandaging.
How long does it take to see results?
Results can start to be seen almost immediately and will continue to improve over time. We take before and after pictures of the treated areas to help you see the improvements in your skin. Patients can expect to see optimal results in 3 to 4 weeks.
How long is the recovery time?
After a Pure Plasma skin rejuvenation procedure, patients may experience some redness in the treated area. This typically resolves within a few hours. There is no downtime with a Pure Plasma treatment so you can go right back to work. After a few days your epidermis skin will begin to peel and slough off. Let dry skin flake off naturally, do not try to peel.
Is it painful?
During your treatment, you might feel some slight discomfort. We always recommend low-energy treatments that minimize this. A numbing cream can be applied to the skin before the session if a patient is nervous. Most clients feel mild heat or pinching, which is tolerable. After treatment, it has been reported that many clients feel the skin is warm and radiating a little heat, not dissimilar to the feeling of sunburn.
How many treatments do I need?
Patients will see improvements with one treatment almost immediately, and continued improvement over the following 3 to 4 weeks, but we recommend a series of five treatments separated by four to six weeks for maximum benefit. Droopy eyelids, crow’s feet, smile lines, forehead wrinkles, acne scars, etc. can be deep and need multiple treatments to rejuvenate the skin with increased collagen production.
How long do results last?
The results of Pure Plasma treatments are long-lasting and the improvements can continue to develop for up to 12 months and last several years depending on the area treated and personal skincare maintenance.
Are there things I should do before my Pure Plasma treatment?
Yes! Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to treatment, avoid waxing and plucking for two weeks prior to treatment, refrain from using self-tanners, bleaching creams, and other skin-lightening products. Do not use exfoliants for one week prior to the treatment. Also, fill out the Medical History questionnaire, drink two liters of water each day three days prior to your treatment. Remove all make-up. Remove contact lenses and remove any unwanted hair from the treatment areas, otherwise it will synge and burn off during the treatment.
What do I do after my Pure Plasma treatment?
We recommend applying Aquafor to treated skin and leaving it on overnight. Re-apply Aquafor each day for three days to moisturize the skin. Avoid the sun or cover the treated areas and use sunscreen. 24 hours after treatment wash the treated area with fingertips and mild soap. Pat dry with a clean towel. Use your everyday moisturizer. Let dry skin flake off naturally, do not try to peel. No make-up for one day after treatment.
How much does it cost for Pure Plasma treatments?
The average cost per treatment ranges from $350 to $1500, depending on the size of the treatment area and the number of sessions required. For best results, multiple treatments over time are recommended, typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Pure Plasma treatments are a fraction of the cost of a face lift because they are non-invasive, so there is no need for anesthesia or any cutting or sutures. And since it does not damage the surrounding tissue, there is no need for extensive healing or downtime!
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments will depend on skin type, skin condition and results sought. The before and after photographs give guidance on the level of skin improvement of real clients showing the number of treatments, weeks after treatments and the energy levels used. This will be discussed during your initial consultation and there will be a number of package options offered to suit your individual needs and expectations.
What will my skin look like after a treatment?
A layer of your skin WILL NOT be removed during treatment but depending on the type of treatment you have received; the outer layer of treated skin will eventually flake or peel. Your provider will tell you when you should expect to see this happen. Some areas of your skin will appear pink in color. This normal post procedure condition is called erythema. Your provider will advise you on how long this is expected to last.
