SoZo HAIR Salon Tips
When it comes to giving your hair a break, being more gentle with hair color is a great way, and fall is a great time to do that!
Here Are Some Ideas How To Do That: (See article Give Your Hair a Break This Fall, Part 1)
One option is to back off the heavy highlights a bit and put in some lowlights. This adds dimension and shine along with blending regrowth. Lowlights don’t have to be “dark”, just a little darker, so no need to be afraid of them if you’re used to being blonde.
For those who are ready for heavier lowlights, this is beautiful too.
Going darker and richer is another option. Rich browns are beautiful for fall and much more natural looking. By adding pigment to the hair with gentle deposit only hair color, we often get more shine/light reflection.
Warm it up without going too dark to start, get used to it gradually. What have you got to lose?
Ready for a deeper red? Flirty rich reds are always a hot fall look.
How about a fall Ombre? Add depth to the base and blend through the mid shaft, great way to back off the bleach!
The options go on and on. The idea is, deposit color instead of removing it, to give the hair a break! Removing pigment/color is, plain and simply, harder on the hair. Hair color that is made for deposit only is very gentle, using this type of hair color will definitely “give your hair a break.”
